LOL I don't see any angry comments yet. :P I agree with you.

I keep seeing stuff about 9/11 on the news all the time, and that's the problem: we keep talking about it, but we haven't done much to prevent it from happening again-war is not going to solve the problem, I think the only thing that will solve the problem is peace; getting more police officers is not going to stop the violence; approving more laws is not going to stop people from committing crimes; we have to figure out what's causing these things to happen, like why people are so angry, sad, etc, and help them find a proper outlet for it, rather than using violence and war to solve the problems.

Okay, I'll stop lecturing now!! Lol.

    AMEN!

I'm so sick of the 9/11 movies. United 93 and The World Trade Center...Path to 9/11 etc...(Especially Path to 9/11 for reasons the Clinton Administration already voiced) but anyways. I didn't hear of any donations from the two Box Office films to any kind of survivor relief or tuition assistance programs...did you? I really - seriously - don't think the country is ready for these kinds of movies that wind up justifying the war and proliferating the Bush Administrations grasp on reality. Especially when we STILL haven't heard the full black box tapes, we STILL haven't seen the full length security tape of the plane hitting the pentagon, and the government and news have now successfully trained the country to respond with fear on a whim.

I really feel for the people living now who lost people 5 years ago, knowing that those who died aren't resting in peace.

    Here here!

I REALLY hate the fact that "they" unofficially named today "Patriot Day". I scratch it out on all my calendars.
