Yeah, it seems like the government has made-or is trying to make-laws that will benefit themselves rather than the entire population, and tries to think for us rather than letting us think for ourselves; have you noticed that Bush always mentions "security" and "war" and "terrorists" but never talks about peace...peace seems like the best type of security we need to have.

1) Tenet quit, so no, the administration is NOT TRYING to do anything. It's a guy who has international intelligence experience saying "hey, you know what would make sense?"
Which leads to 2) Deep down, you know Tenet has a valid point. Maybe not a good idea, but a valid point none the less.
